The human heart is a muscular organ in the chest of humans and other animals that pumps blood throughout the body.
The heart is divided into four chambers: two atria and two ventricles. The right ventricle pumps deoxygenated blood to the lungs and oxygenated blood to the rest of the body. The left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood to the rest of the body.
